Two Italian Rascals #3

Two Italian Rascals is a new independent photography magazine born from the awareness that we live in an overly digitized world where images have been commodified at the expense of eliminating the effort that goes into creating a visual work.

"We fall prey to an endless and damaging scroll that leaves little room for conscious reflection. Creating a print magazine is a way to slow down, a way to establish a more intimate connection with artists, a way to integrate images with words to discover the deeper meaning of photography".

ISSUE 3 - American Dream

With this issue, Two Italian Rascals magazine takes another step forward, both in terms of graphics and choice of materials, with a padded hard cover in eco-leather, and in terms of editorial depth.

The theme of this third issue is the American dream.
Growing up watching MTV and Hollywood blockbusters, the United States has represented in the imagination of many an El Dorado where everything is possible.

We have then understood that the reality of the United States is more complicated and complex than an episode of Dawson's Creek or Laguna Beach, a mix of contradictions that sometimes leaves us disoriented.

In this issue, TIR  convey a complex and multifaceted vision of America, showing not only its physical and cultural vastness as a country and brand, but also the story of a constantly evolving society where yes, everything is truly possible.

In its third issue, Two Italian Rascals explores the work of established and emerging photographers through long-form interviews, to give greater emphasis to the images and tell the stories behind a photographic work.
