Little Passing Thoughts is a new book containing more than 350 drawings by the artist Orfeo Tagiuri.
Tagiuri scribbles day and night on a small notebook with a black pen to capture 'universal emotions'. He will tear out a number of his drawings because he feels they’re not good enough, or to give them away to friends as way to have a laugh or remember a moment, or to sell to a someone who may have shared the very same feeling or thought. The book is chunky but pocket-sized in order to be carried everywhere and opened when one needs to take a break, to find inspiration, or just to breathe.
Orfeo Tagiuri says, 'Each of these drawings is fished out from the river of little passing thoughts. I don’t know where they come from but sometimes I take the time to gently scoop them up and set them down. They are a great joy, relief and meditation to make. I hope you can feel that'.
