This book was written with a deep love for the Han River and captures its lifestyle as closely as possible. It

was designed with international publication in mind, aiming to help first-time visitors to Seoul gain a deeper understanding of Korean cities and life. It is my hope that this book will shed a unique light on Seoul's lifestyle, centered around the Han River, for European readers. I especially hope it will be a meaningful resource for first-time visitors to Seoul or those interested in Korean daily life and local culture.

*This book is planned as a semi-annual series, and the next issue will feature the "Banpo Bridge" section.
Subsequently, we plan to focus on bridges in Seoul and expand to include local lifestyles in Busan and Jeju.
