Double #49

Double is a bi-lingual French-English magazine, offering an original and transversal point of view on the spirit of our times. Down the years Double has developed its established format as of a creative portfolio.

A pleasingly weighty French language (with an English translation tucked away in the back) design magazine, with a slightly different perspective on things.

Double, an excellently high-quality publication, comes in an unusual landscape rather than portrait layout. Not only does this introduce a new view on the designs within, it gives a different sense of space to the many features on fashion, style and design.

Alongside the substantial Blog on Paper section, an excellent collection of striking and compelling images, are interviews with some of the leading names in design.

Issue #49:

This is the Printemps—Été (aka Spring/Summer) issue of the popular Parisian fashion publication Le Magazine Double, published in a glossy landscape format with stories alternating between flip-book and memo pad orientations inside. 

This 49th issue features the likes of model Kristen McMenamy, musician and comic book writer Warren Ellis, photographer Nan Goldin, artist Robert Mapplethorpe, art director Christian Lacroix and more, with five covers to choose from. 

Please note that magazine covers cannot be specified at the time of the order. However, you can indicate your preferred cover in the order notes at checkout.

If the cover you prefer is available, we will do our best to send it. If the cover you specify is the only one you are willing to accept,  please indicate this clearly in your order notes. Otherwise, we will consider it as a preference and will send a cover based on availability.
