The Space Series: Spacemen Print By Federico Babina

Magma asked Barcelona-based illustrator Federico Babina to create carefully studied illustrations for this series, situated somewhere between cultural archeology and pointless knowledge, and which is a homage to science fiction and our ever-growing fascination with the idea space exploration.

From real spacemen (and dogs) such as Neil Armstrong and Laika (Sputnik) to fictional characters (and ape-characters) such as Dan Dare and Cornelius—how many of the space-heroes’ space suits in the print can you recognize?
