PERSONA #1 Bella Freud

PERSONA is an independent, biannual print title founded by Grace O’Neill and Vogue Philippines contributing editor Paulina Paige Ortega.

The publication takes a slow and considered approach, with each issue dedicated to a single subject and developed in close collaboration with them over several months.

The inaugural issue is dedicated to Bella Freud, with portraits by fine art photographer Scarlett Carlos Clarke, painter Amanda Wall and novelist Zoe Dubno. Exclusive access to Freud’s personal archive brings together photographs, film stills, show notes and personal memories, including photographs with her father, Lucian Freud.

The issue also features photographs from a private portrait session with Nigel Shafran in the 1990s, published exclusively for the first time.

The inaugural issue is a 120-page, A5 clothbound hardback.
