Ebony Wolcott Necklace

Séverine Balanqueux has founded Titlee in 2005, when she came back home after her honeymoon in South India.

She wanted to create a seasonless, timeless and effortless collection of accessories. As delicate, light and subtly colored as a butterfly  – Titlee is the word for butterfly in hindi.

She also wanted this collection to be entirely made in France, in collaboration with talented craftmens, and composed mainly by permanent and classic styles.

Firstly a range of textiles, Titlee was turned into a jewelry line in 2009, when Séverine began to design some necklaces. The success was such that she decided to focus on jewelry.

From day to day, along the year, Séverine is inspired by the people she meets and the travels she makes. She collects ideas, pictures, words or landscapes.

She finds its main creative DNA and energy in New York. This bright and lively city inspires a lot Titlee’s collections,  and almost each piece of jewelry is named after a street or neighborhood in the «Big Apple». Children’s illustration is also an endless source of inspiration for her.

Each season, new collection composes the brilliant conclusion of her roaming creativity, presenting jewels she would all would love to wear.

Titlee mixes unique gold chains with cut engraved or enameled pieces, creating surprising colorful associations.
