Have you noticed the recent trend for using the word “human” – as in, “He’s a beautiful human” or, “She’s a spectacular human” – instead of the prosaic “person”, or gendered descriptors of the more and less formal variety: “man”, “woman”, “dude”, “babe”, etc.
Paperboy believes this development in the language as an inevitable reaction to the dehumanising, impersonal effects of technology. And welcome it!
This issue, Paperboy's esteemed team of writers, photographers and artists – all living, breathing humans – brings you 146 pages of only Good News, celebrating the wonders of humanity: theirs, yours, ours.
All of it made in the real world, as they say, with our own imperfect, human hands.
