A Magazine: Synthesis Curated for Youssouf Fofana

A Magazine Curated By is a fashion magazine that explores the universe of a chosen fashion designer in each issue.

This is the fifth edition of A Magazine Curated By's supplementary print project, which typically takes form as a 100-page issue based around a single event—be it an exhibition, festival or anniversary—and also guest edited, much like the main magazine.

Issue #5

This time, it's French-Senegalese designer Youssouf Fofana who takes the reigns in collaboration with Jordan Brand, on the occasion of a newly launched youth summer program and community space in Paris, celebrating sports and fashion. Fofana takes inspiration from his own youthful memories of the 18th arrondissement, with photography, interviews and features revolving around a younger generation of African diaspora rooted in France and the particularly iconic former department store Tati, (where Jordan Brand's new community space has opened).
