Lohi Journal #3

‘The Slow Journal’

First published in 2024, Lohi is fast becoming a staple of our travel shelf, with a special focus on ‘slow lifestyles,’ meaning a preference for local authenticity, organic and sustainable practices, and a holistic approach to travel and tourism. Each issue is made up of two parts: one an in-depth guide to a specific destination, and the other a collection of general, slow travel writing and stories.

The third issue features stories from the Atlas Mountains, the vast North African mountain range spanning Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, its monumental scale conjuring up an image of its mythological namesake, the Greek Titan Atlas. This time, the team travel to the Moroccan region to provide a guide to the flourishing hotelier business. From community hubs to luxury resorts, Lohi has got all bases covered.

Then, halfway through, flip the magazine upside down to read the second part covering Milan’s Casa Fornasetti, Nice, Venice, Maja Alskog Bredberg’s ‘plant philosophy’, and more.
