It is edited and founded by One Thousand Birds, a leading design studio for audio. Hii is published and headquartered in NYC, with audio production studios in LA, Lisbon and Bogotá.”

Hii Magazine Volume 2: Ayo Edebiri Edition

Issue #2 centers around the theme of 'Broadcast'. The issue highlights stories about the media distribution method (radio, television, Twitch, etc.) and features pieces that use 'Broadcast' as a conceptual framework to explore the practice of transmitting our conceptions of self to many different destinations.

Examples of this practice are our social media personas, the various iterations of ourselves we apply to different roles we employ in life (teacher, father, friend, daughter, lover), or even how we relate to other species, like plants. Issue 2 sports dual covers (along with respective interviews) featuring actress/writer Ayo Edebiri and R&B / Hip-hop artist Ivy Sole.
