Opening with the question, where are you from, our first issue refreshed and examined our own understanding of the Levant, introducing our readers to a region that is relatable regardless of where you are technically from. Our second issue takes it one step further. 2019 is a time where just about anything is within reach, authentic regional cuisine, traditional garb, contemporary culture - it's all an Uber ride away. Origin is a starting point but what defines a person is not where they are from but rather what they choose to be a part of in the present.
