A new era is here. Fen and Field magazine has been reimagined. Getting to know our readers allowed us to truly get to know ourselves, and we realised that something needed to change – and it was us, and not us.

Our new name, ætla, better reflects everything that this magazine is: a window into the rest of the world, a conversation about humans in nature, a discussion on sustainable living that relishes modernity and the tranquillity of wilderness – within an intersectional, accessible narrative, always. Every story told in beautiful written and visual stories that capture the feeling of being alive, from tentative steps to highest summits..
