Garment - The Underwear Issue

The magazine of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute sets out to make private matters public in its latest issue. Shedding light on underwear, a garment that spends far too much time in the dark, it seeks to awake the reader’s curiosity by exploring all kinds of peculiar garments that people might be hiding under their clothes.

Find out how one graduate creates underwear out of lotus flowers, read about an Australian lingerie designer’s love for classic cuts, enjoy an overview of iconic underwear moments, and celebrate nudity with a few (faux) nudes. Other features include the hidden potential of bioplastic and visualising the craziest, most extravagant fantasy worlds by using underwear.
