Designed by Botanopia, a small Netherlands-based design studio, this porcelain accessory lets you easily grow small trees and plants in your favourite glass or vase. It sits on top of the glass opening, and lets the seeds or cuttings hover just above the water level, so they can grow roots without rotting. The white surface acts as a picture frame to shine the spotlight on your growing seedlings.

The Small germination plate is the perfect size to grow smaller tree seeds like acorns or chestnuts. It’s also great for smaller flower bulbs like muscari, snowdrop or crocus. Use it to showcase smaller succulents and cacti with their roots growing in water. You’ll love it for rooting small plant cuttings like the spider plant and succulents.

It can be used with a variety of different seeds, nuts, bulbs and plants. 

It’s made of porcelain, produced by hand in the EU and ships in a black gift box with instructions.
