Blueprint #367

Launched in 1983, Blueprint was the first magazine to cross the boundaries between design and architecture. Today, this premium bi-monthly, 260-page magazine continues to be revered by architects and designers around the world for its fresh and unconventional approach.

For their annual collaboration issue, Blueprint sit down with two hugely influential architects — Liz Diller and Amanda Levete — to discuss what role collaboration plays in their work, from the new MoMA in New York to the upcoming Maggie’s Centre in Southampton. They also take a look at the architecture practices and projects around the UK championing collaboration with young people, including De Matos Ryan and White Arkitekter.

Elsewhere in the issue, an exclusive interview with Nicholas Grimshaw alongside the review of the transformation of his iconic Herman Miller Factory project into the Bath Spa University School of Art and Design. A visit to two new, inventive projects from Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG): The Twist in Norway (our cover star) and Copenhill in Denmark. Plus: Blueprint Awards 2019, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, SODA Studio, Chicago Architecture Biennial, Fish Island Village, Vienna Design Week and much more.
