Attitude #86

Chromatic is the theme that we explored in the months of March and April, preparing an especially vibrant edition, not only in terms of content but, also, in terms of graphic layout. We have aimed at establishing a visual equilibrium, enhancing the dialogue between textual information and photographic elements, always seeking to promote the immersive experience of those reading our pages.

Terms such as sobriety and discretion – which a black and white register typically brings to mind – had no place in the pages of this edition, where free reign was given to exploring an animated chromatic universe.

In addition to more well-known names from interior architecture and design (such as Elisa Ossino Studio, page 74, and Crosby Studios, page 84), we also gathered a variety of young talents from different origins and backgrounds who, unreservedly explore the chromatic strength in the work they develop. Signing highly diverse creative productions, Tammy Kanat, Mina Hamada, Maria Imaginário and Dylan Gebbia-Richards are just some of the names you will enjoy discovering in our People section (page 34).

Also in Mood (page 66) we seek to explore the potential of colour further by combining it with the exoticism of tropical flavours.

Interiors come to us from different corners of the globe (page 113), with the spaces and ambiences that most surprise us in relation to the theme of each edition. We are driven, not by the logic of immediacy nor a need to claim exclusivity in all we publish but, rather, by the genuine relationship that we establish with the editorial material, seeking out the very substance of our DNA.

Shortly, you will be able to look forward to the latest novelties from Salone del Mobile in Milan and the Ambiente fair in Frankfurt, that will deserve their usual place of prominence inside Attitude.
