Raymond Depardon (Photographer), Preface by William Boyd
Raymond Depardon visited Glasgow in 1980 to undertake a commission for the Sunday Times, the report was never published and Depardon's pictures remained in storage until they were exhibited in a major exhibition of his colour photographs, 'A Sweet Moment' at the Grand Palais in 2013.
This portfolio of 68 images depict the people and the streets of a Glasgow that despite being more than 30 years past, appears uncannily present through Depardon's immediate and frank photography.
